Motrola Droid X Ad Takes a Jab at iPhone Reception

While it may look like any other cell phone advertisement, the recent full-page Motorola DroidX ad in The New York Times is taking a jab at the reception problems for which the iPhone 4 has been criticized as of late.

The ad shows a picture of the Droid X and highlights its popular features such as the 8-meg camera with dual flash, HDMI output, 3G mobile hotspot connectivity, and more.

At the end of the ad is where the dig can be found. The final sentences state: “And most importantly, it comes with a double antenna design. The kind that allows you to hold the phone any way you like and use it just about anywhere to make crystal clear calls. You have a voice. And you deserve to be heard.”
